Culture & Tradition

The goal for this project was to choose an existing brand as a model and create a new brand identity. We had to design its packaging, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, applications, social media posts, and website. I was inspired by the modern and vibrant drink cans that can be seen in the grocery aisles.

Techniques & Style

I used a clear and easy to understand approach to this product line. I wanted to ensure that customers would be able to recognize the brand and flavor quickly and with ease. To ensure that the brand's fun, traditional, yet modern outlook I used a vibrant color palette.

Personal Connection

The brand I chose to remodel was the brand named Jumex, a Mexican juice company. I grew up drinking this drink and my family has always loved it as well. I wanted to remodel this brand because its old design was outdated and was in need of a modern look. Since, most of its current audience is Spanish speaking, I wanted to ensure that the illustrations of fruit are easy to understand.
